About PhotoCubics
Our Story: Defending Optical Truth Since 2009:
PhotoCubics started out as a professional photo studio specialized in jewelry and product imaging. The daily workflow relied on traditional studio lighting and rigid rules—time-devouring, patience-testing, grueling work. There had to be a better way.
In 2009, development began on the original FlashBox, and in September 2010, the system launched to the market. Over the last 16 years, PhotoCubics earned the respect of hundreds of jewelers, helping them build enterprise success through the deployment of world-class professional imagery for online and print sales materials.
In 2019 the decision was made to scale down production at PhotoCubics—maintaining operations strictly to service our existing legacy enterprise clients. We chose to wait out the multi-year cycle of smartphone app-driven novelty, allowing the inevitable wave of merchandise returns and marketplace fatigue to prove our original thesis correct.
Their definitive answer: The financial abyss of horrible smartphone app-driven images.
It is now late July 2026, and a new fire has been lit for PhotoCubics. While the majority of the market may continue to reject operational accountability, serious and honest jewelry brands recognize that the NEW FlashBox 2027 is the only honest answer and solution.
A massive technological evolution has occurred since 2019 in solid-state lighting arrays, dedicated camera capabilities, and systems integration. PhotoCubics captured these advancements into a compact Mac Command Interface that 100% eliminates the learning curve of complex photo and video editing software—without handcuffing the user into the locked, claustrophobic subscription ecosystems the competition shackles customers with.
